How Did I Get Here?
An in-browser demo to the game is now available on itch.io
Although there’s a lot more to talk about leading up to this point, I thought I’d share the culmination of my efforts thus far.

In this demo are three key features of the game:
procedurally-generated street circuits
traffic system with ‘slingshot boost’ mechanic
time-of-day (and traffic density) changes with each lap
Although the latter two form the premise of the game, the procedurally generated street circuits are by far the most technically-rich feature. I look forward to breaking down every step taken to put together the algorithm.
